Precautions were taken (Production Blog)

Hello bloggers! today we will get into more depth with topics we've previously discussed. I did lightly touch on the fact that me and my group prioritized health and safety. A few times in a few of my other blogs. But now I just wanted to get more in depth on the actual equipment. First off we had adults on standby. Just in case an emergency took place. Anything is possible so we wanted to prepare for such. Just in case something out of our hands happened. This next bit may seem like overkill. But we also had 3 first aid kits. My mom always has them stocked up just in case of any emergency around the house. So this was the perfect occasion to use them for in case of any accidents on set. Third we also rehearsed some of the more risky scenes before filming. Namely the scene where I get stabbed. As that scene was necessary for the movie we definitely didn’t want to cut it out. Instead we were sure to make the scene go as smooth, strategic, and straightforward as possible. We had suse practice where she’d stab me without the knife. As well as have her stab the air with the knife. Making it seem believable while also being cautious. This was vitally important for not only our safety but also the group.
