Title Research: Art of the Title Website

We are researching this website because it has a wide and diverse amount of films in our genre. From Classics like the Little shop of Horrors to Terrifier 2. Films like these and thrillers like Captain America: Winter Solider and even game adaptations allow for extensive research and understanding of our genre. The website is also easier to navigate compared to the other website. The website makes it easier to find movies for our genre compared to the other website. Art of the title not only provides many films but also hundreds of studios and designers. With movies that fit the time period of today. The video interface is also easier to navigate than the other website. Art of the title also goes more in depth with production as well. The only downside is that it can be hard sometimes to find a specific movie due to the sheer amount of films the website has.

Genre Research: Mystery

Mystery: After researching the mystery genre, we were able to pick up on a couple consistencies throughout the genre as a whole. Common CAMS Angles Low-Angle Views: Exudes a feeling of dominance or authority.
Usually employed to unveil a crucial component in a mysterious setting or to introduce a formidable adversary. High Angle: Makes one susceptible or helpless.
Frequently used to illustrate a character's fragility or loneliness, or to depict their response to an enigmatic incident. Transverse-Shoulder Views: Offers a sense of involvement by placing the viewer in a character's shoes.
Frequently employed in conversation sequences, detective stories, or in situations where characters are finding hints. Movements Pan: From a stationary position, the camera swivels horizontally.

CCR blog part 1 (podcast)

Hello everyone. Welcome back to the podcast.  Today we're going to answer some questions that you all sent me. So the first question today will be about conventions learned in our project. Within our video filming process we learned a lot about different conventions such as high angles, tracking shots, and a variety of other shots like being shot, middle shot, MCU shot, medium long shot and close up shot. Bring our filming process you also learned about the importance of lighting and sound within our genre of thrillers and a lot of thrillers that we in my group watched, we notice how lighting and sound really played a role in building up suspense and drama and even fear in some cases.
