Get to know Aurum!!!

My name is Aurum and here is a little intro into who I am. I consider myself a right brain thinker because I am intuitive and creative. I love listening to music, if you see me my headphones are always in. My top 3 favorite genres are rap, alternative, and R&B. Music is definitely a big part of my life since I was little. My parents exposed me to many different types of music from Erykah Badu to Nirvana. I also enjoy playing sports my favorite being basketball which I have been playing since elementary school. Tying into sports I am now getting into strength training and starting to go on protein heavy diets. On top of that I have also been watching sports for as long as I can remember. Being from Florida I am a Florida everything for sports. Miami Hurricanes, Miami Heat, Miami Marlins, and Miami Dolphins. Me and my dad will watch football all day when it's on as well as the entire NBA playoffs. I also enjoy fashion and clothes I got more into it once I got into Highschool and mostly 10th grade. I will occasionally go thrifting when I have time or just online shopping. My favorite colors to wear are reds, white, and browns. I am learning more about fashion and what colors go with what everyday and I truly find joy in that. My goal this year is to expand my fashion and potentially wear things that I wouldn't even think of wearing 2 years ago or 3 years ago. Finally I wanted to talk about my goals for after Highschool. I plan on going to college and a college that is local so I don't stray to far from family and a familiar environment. I am doing what I can now to ensure I can achieve that goal and excel even after I graduate college.

Within our video filming process we learned a lot about different conventions such as high angles, tracking shots, and a variety of other shots like being shot, middle shot, MCU shot, medium long shot and close up shot. Bring our filming process you also learned about the importance of lighting and sound within our genre of thrillers and a lot of thrillers that we in my group watched, we notice how lighting and sound really played a role in building up suspense and drama and even fear in some cases. Film Day 1 (Production Blog)

 Hey Bloggers! welcome back to another blog. Today we get into film day 1. I will go in depth on the day and the events that took place. As well as why this blog is even titled film Day 1. Why not just Film Day you ask? Well lets get into it. First off I want to say that this day was very productive. We got lots of the movie done. All outside scenes were done first as they needed sunlight. Unlike last time we didn't record the film in order of storyboard this time. We film based on importance of scene and location. To bring up an example that I used earlier the outside. All the scenes that showed the sun out or needed sunlight. Had to be completed first. Because if the sun went down, we couldn't finish the scene. We did this to prevent the need for a film Day 2. But obviously that didn't work out. We did however, like I said earlier get lots of important filming done. We ended up getting around 23-25 of the scenes done out of 30 for our storyboard. Believe it or not the sce
